  • Let's grow—together.

    Our 2025-2029 Strategic Path Forward

At Lynwood Charlton Centre, we’ve built something special—a trusted haven where children, youth, and families can find hope and healing. This strategic plan is our compass for the next four years, ensuring we keep growing to meet the needs of our community and all those who count on us.

  • Let's build—together.

This isn’t just our plan—it’s Hamilton’s plan. Shaped by:

The wisdom of our staff, partners, and community voices; a commitment to strength-based, inclusive care; and the real-world challenges Hamilton families face every day.

We’re especially grateful to the hundreds of team members, colleagues, and neighbors who shared their insights. You helped answer three big questions: Who are we? Where are we going? And most importantly—why does it matter?

  • Let's make an impact—together.

To our incredible staff, partners, and supporters:

When you read these priorities, we hope you see your fingerprints everywhere. Because this vision only becomes reality through your skill, passion, and dedication.

  • Let's focus on priorities—together.

Based on our values, our guiding principles, and input from our thought partners, we have identified our three strategic priorities:

  • 1. Strengthen.

STRENGTHEN programs for children, youth and families.

We will continue to champion equitable, evidence-informed mental health services that remove barriers to well-being.

We will embed Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion and Truth and Reconciliation principles to enhance accessibility and cultural responsiveness through a structured approach. This approach will ensure consistency and enhance accessibility for the diverse community we serve including: multicultural, Indigenous, French-speaking, and 2SLGBTQ2IA+ children, youth and their families.

  • 2. Invest.

    INVEST in staff well-being.

A well-supported workforce is crucial for providing high-quality mental health care.

We are dedicated to supporting our staff through focused wellness programs, cultivating a positive workplace culture, and investing in the tools, technology, and training needed to improve both efficiency and effectiveness. By prioritizing staff well-being, we aim to boost job satisfaction, improve retention, and ensure reliable, top-tier care for children, youth, and families.

  • 3. Build.

BUILD the long-term impact of Lynwood Charlton Centre by diversifying funding, fostering strategic partnerships, and enhancing community engagement.

By expanding donor initiatives, securing new funding sources, and improving operational efficiency, we will ensure financial stability.

Strengthening our infrastructure and amplifying our advocacy efforts will allow us to sustain and grow essential mental health services for future generations.

  • Let’s make these next four years transformative—together.
