LCC Open House
In Celebration of Child & Youth Mental Health Day
You are invited.
May 7 is Child & Youth Mental Health Day—a day to remind children, youth, and young people that their mental health matters and that they are not alone. The message is simple but powerful: "I care about you."
At Lynwood Charlton Centre, this message sits at the heart of everything we do. We believe that real impact comes from listening, building trust, and creating spaces where young people feel safe to share their experiences and be heard. This includes ensuring equitable access to care and amplifying voices that are too often unheard — including those of Black, Indigenous, racialized, 2SLGBTQIA+, newcomer, Francophone, Northern, and low-income youth.
This is an opportunity to:
Learn about our programs and services – including live-in treatment, in-home support, counselling, school programs, and community groups
Meet our team – connect with counsellors and staff who can answer your questions
Share your voice – provide input about the kinds of resources and information you would like to see from us
Discover upcoming workshops – learn more and sign up for our Parent Coaching Workshops
This event is for parents, caregivers, youth, community partners, and anyone who cares about child and youth mental health in Hamilton. There is no fee to attend and no registration required. Refreshments and treats will be provided.
Come say hello. Let's grow hope together.
